Yiyang’s Digital Manufacturing Base Launched

The project of digital R&D platform and cloud platform of Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was officially launched on October 14, which marked that Yiyang’s intelligent rubber machinery digital manufacturing base project officially entered the implementation phase.

The complete set of Siemens’s integrated strategic solutions was introduced into the digital R&D platform project, and the Citrix and VMware were applied to the cloud platform and run by two companies from Beijing and Nanjing.

The project of those two platforms is the informatization part of the intelligent rubber machinery digital manufacturing base project. It will take the cloud platform technology as basic structure and the MBD digital R&D, manufacture and management platform as the goal to build a information management platform featuring model-based digital design, manufacture and management, which is driven by project management, based on product data specification and centered by 3D collaborative design. This platform includes model-based 3D product design, process planning and management during the digital manufacture of models, MBD quality test, digital collaboration of models and product data management system, 3D design process visualization publishing and digital system integration. Upon the building of this platform, it will form a new and complete MBD digital product design and manufacture collaboration management system, laying a solid foundation for the digital factory.

The R&D project of the cloud platform is the foundation of the whole digital R&D platform architecture of Yiyang, while the digital R&D platform is the core of the digital factory, providing hardware and software platforms for the informatization development of enterprises in the future. 

It is reported that the integral moving and technological upgrading of Yiyang, that is the intelligent rubber machinery digital manufacturing base project, will promote the digitalization of product manufacturing and intelligentization of products, being a strong support for the enterprise transformation, upgrading, innovation and development.
