Several Test Tracks at Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground Opened for Operation

On March 18, several test tracks were officially opened for operation at Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground, which was built by Linglong Group with a total investment of 1.133 Billion Yuan. This means that Linglong Group has ushered in a new breakthrough in building a third-party public test and inspection platform and promoting cutting-edge technology research.

Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground is designed and participated by top international professional team Applus + IDIADA as the third party to carry out comprehensive operation and management, covering tire tests for sedans, light trucks, trucks, passenger cars, etc. It can conduct field monitoring and indoor testing on more than 40 performance indicators such as tire controllability, economical efficiency, comfortableness, etc.

At the same time, 17 tire test tracks have been built at Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground, including high-speed loop track, pass-by noise test track, dynamic square, multi-pavement straight braking track, dry handling track, wet handling track, wet circle, fatigue endurance track, NVH and comfort track, multi-functional platform and test mountain, cross-country track, etc.

According to the introduction, from March 10, the high-speed test track at Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground was opened to all users. The test track has a total length of 5.3km, of which the straight track is 1.5km long with a balancing speed of 180km/h. The lane changing test, sliding test and other performance tests can be carried out according to the provisions of Proving Ground.

On March 16, the wet test track at Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground was also fully opened, making the testing capacity of Proving Ground more complete. Wet track is used to evaluate tire and vehicle performance under low-adhesion coefficient road conditions, including wet handling track, wet circle, and two wet braking test tracks.
